    Hi,
I guess the images are created with a fractal generator program like Fractal Explorer. You can find it here: https://www.eclectasy.com/Fractal-Explorer/index.html

  • Probably you’re in one of the predefined workspaces like Automation or Working with Type that highlights the relevant menu items in that way. If you switch back to the default workspace (Window/Workspace/Default Workspace) or to your own saved workspace I think the red markers will disappear.

In Photoshop CS2 you can select multiple layers by clicking them while holding down shift or ctrl. In this way you can change the font and font size for many text layers simultaneously.

You can move the canvas if you’re in the Full Screen Mode or the Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar.

    1. You can use ctrl+alt+[ or ] . This will move up or down in the stack of paths.

    2. As I know the difference is that you can edit the effects after you apply them using the appearance pallette. The effects will appear stacked there.. and you can edit, delete or duplicate them. The filters are definitive (the way they are in photoshop) they’re not editable after applying and you can get rid of them only by using undo.

    3. You can set the accuracy of the arrow keys in Preferences/General/Keyboard Increment. If you press shift while moving an object with the arrow keys, the object will move with 10 x the increment set in the preferences.

Try Type/Create Outlines. After that it should work. HTH

I think you can make something similar in Illustrator. First you must paint all those rectangles using a scatter brush with the size, spacing and scatter set to random. After that group them and create the 3d effect using envelope distort with mesh or top object. HTH
