Can’t you enable the sequence, use the menu Export->Frame, set to Targa and the image under the CTI will be exported as a *.tga still?
It certainly works for me!

I would not buy a system to run the Matrox RT.X2 unless it has been fully tested and proven by somebody you trust.
Matrox is now testing diffferent systems to formulate their System Recommendations for the card. As you may check on their site here: https://www.matrox.com/video/support/rtx2/rec/home.cfm these recommendations have yet to come.

Because some DVD or CD burnimg softwares require (or work better) with non-multiplexed A/V clips.

You have a setting problem. In the Adobe Media Encoder there is a Multiplexer option. If you select Mpeg-1 in the dialog box, you will have Audio and Video in the same MPG clip. If you select NONE, you will have a two clips: a M1V and a MPA.

The answer is Yes
Apply the Timecode Effect to your clips. You will find it under the “Video” group of the Video Effects.

On the timeline, right click on your clip, Unlink the video and audio. Drag the audio to separate it physically fron the video clip, and hilite it. Go to the menu Clip-> Audio Options-> and hit Render & Replace. Premiere will quickly render it to a WaV clip. Then, use the options Export-> Audio in Premiere.

If you are capturing from an analog device, try running the Matrox “Audio Capture Drift Detection” utility that you will find in windows Start-> All Programs-> Matrox X.Tools.
It will probably solve your sync problem.
