    Hi,

thank you, yes I came to this conclusion too after excessive testing 😉
Though it seems the routing type CLRLsRsLFE is really an AAC thingy and a combination of the player.
Yes best ist to stick with SMPTE routing.
    Thank you

Hi, thank you, but the thing I would like to know is, which type of routing shall I use for specific scenarios?
    DCI = DCP
film = general use for filebased

but what about those other types of routing and where are their origins?
    thank you 🙂

  • I’ve tried it also with a BlackMagic card on a different PC and the same problem exist with Premiere. Both cards are also used with a Gradingsoftware (Scratch and Resolve) and they handel the SDI signal correctly (full range stays full range)…

    Hi,
I’m a bit late on this thread ;), though I would love to know
where in Premiere can you tick “use source file name” ?
via EDL Export there isn’t unfortunately much to choose from…

And another question @ Tim regarding what you mentioned about the
    format of the timeline:

“… unless you copy/paste all the edited material into a full-resolution sequence and then go back and undo and zoom/crop work that would show up as images that aren’t full frame.”

When will Premiere be able to convert the timeline format fairly easily? (e.g. as in “Offline” in HD and “Online” in 4K?)
    Thank you
    Kind Regards
    Andrea

    Hi Danny,

    thank you for your help.
Probably the disc was bad, as it worked now with a different one.

    Cheers

    hi vincent,

we need premiere to prepare our files from Maya/Nuke (32bit fp) for colour grading in scratch. As we have a gradient as a background, we need to keep it in 16 bit before the grading to avoid any artefacts that might occur.
