Aja Kona 3G and Premiere: images will be scaled to legal
Hi,
we have a PC, Windows 7, Aja Kona 3G (standard firmware installed – not the 4K one, but with the latest drivers), Nvidia 6000 Assimilate Scratch and Premiere Pro CC2014 running on that system.
The Problem is that either via Aja Control Panel or Premiere images will be scaled to legal on the SDI output. Whereas if I use the Aja and Scratch I have a full range image (and the image is full range)
It doesnt matter which settings I use in the AJA control panel – the image always will be scaled to legal.
Did anyone experience anything like that before or has even a solution to that :-)?

I’ve tried it also with a BlackMagic card on a different PC and the same problem exist with Premiere. Both cards are also used with a Gradingsoftware (Scratch and Resolve) and they handel the SDI signal correctly (full range stays full range)…
