and: the idea is good, tried things like this before, but still the problem with those “all in one” nodes is the toggle all nodes on/off, isn’t it? each time i want to take a look on the original, those not used nodes will turn on again, therefore this technique was driving me nuts…

how do you handle this issue?

all nice ideas…

one thing i have to mention concerning the toggle on off grade funtion.
i find the really annoying thing is, that it doesn’t work at all times. sometimes
i have to remove my hands from the wave to the mouse and click on the node window.
then it works again…

that’s normal, right? and it would be supercool if the arrow keys would work in all situations,
regardless of which window is active!

that did it! i tried first to export and reimport the project, but that road was a dead-end. now with those
reindex commands everything works fine again!

in the media pool i can sort by name tc etc… but sort by modified date doesnt work either 🙁

for manual working a simple search field in the media pool on the conform page would also be great… it is kinda confusing the way added files are shown (and where… somewhere at the end of the list!).

we actually did grade the movie already in avid ds, but for final tweaks i would have loved to move it to resolve. avid ds is more than up to grading, that is true and at the same time the “problem”. it is simply not a specialized grading app, and a lot of tasks take longer time to achieve…

but if there is no simple way, i guess we will finish it in ds.
