    Hi all !

I have intention to spend to resolve, and I expect to come out the Lite version and then move to the full version.

I wonder if the lite version will also allow the avid artist color control surface and Which is the most affordable DeckLink works with R8 ?

    thank you 😉

    Welcome,

Currently it is the Decklink Extreme 3/3D/3D+ (the first two have been discontinued and replaced by the 3D+) that are supported. Apparently some older ones are perfectly capable of monitoring, and there are likely future options in the Decklink 4K and Ultrastudio 3D…

I’m almost sure that the support for panels will be the same in the lite version as it is in the full… they only list Stereoscopic 3D features, 2K, noise reduction, power mastering, remote grading and sharing projects with an external database server as disabled in the lite. The program is much better with a panel that it would be counter-productive for people to demo without it.

Be sure to review the whole configuration guide on blackmagic’s support site. It’ll help greatly in planning what GPUs and storage options to get.
