  • dear John, thank you for your answer,

could you explain me your solution with an example…?

From your answer I understand that you rename clips with “zero” that are not in the right order…?
    Am I right…?

    thank you!

  • thankyou Chad,

I already know… this could be an alternative way to solve my prob, but I prefer to work “as medium icon” just to work in a more “friendly” space with my clips…..

    thnk

  • Hi stefan,

it happens the same to me and I think it’s a bug combining one of the last version of FCP and TIGER…I’m waiting to download next updates…in these weeks I’ve no internet in studio…..still waiting the Phone company…

    dear Rafael,

sometimes i’ve the same problems with titles and with well-lighted, high-contrast image elements having an angle of 15 degrees or less to the horizontal…. Relatively uniform motion, such as zooming in or out, increases the probability of occurrence and I think that Stairstep and other gross artifacts are defects in codec implementation or other camcorder circuitry problems, not in the design of the DV codec or in the DCT compression process….

anyway I solved in this way using compressor:
    – choose a VIDEO setting and DEINTERLACE using ALGORITHM: BLUR (usually default set to ODD)…

in this way the results are not bad…try it and let me know….

    hi there…

I’ve experienced the same prbs with the same equipments….
it seems to be incredible but I solved everything just changing the fire wire input from the front to the back…connecting my cable in the firewire connection on tha backside of my mac…everything was working correctly…..
and ‘i’m not the only one ….
