Obviously, you are looking for a free script and are willing to give away your time (finding it, making it, customizing something) for free – but if you are willing to pay for anything (like you probably did for After Effects), then there are plugins for this. One of those is Dataclay Templater.

Dataclay Templater is made for this type of batch versioning/rendering. The perpetual Rig license doesn’t require a subscription, but you’ll need to manually submit each render. To automate batch render, you’ll need to upgrade to at least one month of Pro ($100/month).

For anyone looking for similar functionality to MOGRT’s using a JSON file as the data source, check out Dataclay’s Templater plugin. Templater is far more powerful, but it is a subscription-based solution, and it doesn’t work inside Premiere Pro – only in After Effects.

Based on the fact you are trying to change the text source, let me suggest a completely different alternative to using a MOGRT. Have you ever used Dataclay’s Templater plugin? If you are looking to automate dynamic text sources, that is the ideal tool.

While Dataclay Templater doesn’t support CSV (due to the inability to write data back to the CSV without scrambling the file structure), it does support TSV as well as JSON files. And it supports Google Sheets as well. Plus you get all the additional power – like full batch rendering as well as support for automating other 3rd-party solutions or your own custom scripts.
