    Hello everyone, everything good?

    I was looking for a script that could help me render a single composition up to a certain number of times (in my case up to 9999), and in each render the only thing that would change would be this text.

    This text is the model number of the card, that is, I want to create, from 0001 to 0500 for example, all these videos would be rendered so that each video would have its model number. A very simple thing, does anyone know a script that speeds up this process?

    A solutin without scripts:

    When you rename your comp to “0001”, then each subsequent duplicate of the comp will increase their name 2,3,4…

    so your text-layer’s expression could simply be:;

    or if you name it something like “Hologram Area #0001”,

    you could do:“#”)[1];

    to get the final part of the name that has it’s number.

    You’ll manually have to duplicate the comp 500 times, and add to the render queue.

    Obviously, you are looking for a free script and are willing to give away your time (finding it, making it, customizing something) for free – but if you are willing to pay for anything (like you probably did for After Effects), then there are plugins for this. One of those is Dataclay Templater.

    There are a few ways you could do this.

    Filip’s answer is great as it costs you nothing.

    A few more alternatives are:

    – using CompsFromSpreadsheet (super easy to setup, one time fee)

    – Templater (similar to CompsFromSpreadsheet, but one level up in terms of functionality)

    – Plainly (plainlyvideos(dot)com which is again similar to the two solutions above but it would allow you to render these videos in the cloud instead of using your machine)
