Have you tried Importing the old CS5 project into a new CS5.5 project, rather than opening the old CS5 project in CS5.5?

    Thanks for the preset Kevin.

I did some test and they matched up pretty well, I did notice a slight dulling in overcast skies, so I tweaked the top of the curve slightly and I think it came out pretty good.

My version of your preset is here…

If you’d like to try it out.

  • Maybe nothing at all the same but…
I had a similar problem when I had my monitors switched around, i.e. I had my main screen on the cards 2nd output and my extended monitor on the cards main output, all worked fine when I swapped them over.

I use MainConcept’s Mpeg Pro HD with the AVCHD plugin which works great, without having to convert the files first.

if you click on the square green 1 button at the bottom left below the text MS A/V it should give you more info in the box to the right when it tries to decode the video?

I’ve just bought the Main Concept HD plugin for my premiere CS3(just the mpeg/avchd plugin) https://www.mainconcept.com very reasonable price, works fine and gives you 5.1 sound encoder export too.
