I didn’t look…but likely the video in the field was shot with the artists lip syncing to a sped up music track. Then in editorial when you slow it down…
everyone will appear to move in slow mo but be in sync with the normal speed music bed.
Tricky to do…but cool results….

Premiere does not yet support P2 MXF natively.
Matrox’s Axio LE and Axio will shortly support this format in Premiere.
Some other resources you might look at include:

these guys make a series of tools for working wth MXF, including a utility to convert stuff to AVI.
I’ve not yet had the chance to test it….but it looks promising…

I’m not sure if it’s new to version PP 2…
but if you check in the video effects/video folder you will probably see a Timecode effect.
The question I have is what doyou need it to show Source time code or timeline time code?
This will affect how you apply it to the timeline.

So it was writtein to a quicktime file on a Mac…
My guess would be that it would have to be exported on the Mac to a new QT file with a standard codec (like Animation)…this should work ok and then you can bring it over to the PC side…
