QT import into PPRO on MATROX AXIO system
We are trying to import video into PPRO on AXIO HD that was encoded on a MAC with the stock firewire port (no Blackmagic or Kona) from a Sony HDV deck. We just get a white screen with the audio when we try to import QT into AXIO. Any ideas?

Try this:a) Create a NON-Matrox project
b) Import the QT file into the project
c) See if the problem repeats itself.

Tried it on a non-Axio box and still get good audio and white screen video.

So it was writtein to a quicktime file on a Mac…
My guess would be that it would have to be exported on the Mac to a new QT file with a standard codec (like Animation)…this should work ok and then you can bring it over to the PC side…
