Can you Run Premiere Pro (and Adobe software) on XP Pro 64 bit edition OS?

Yes, some people are working with Premiere 2.0 in a 64 bit environment, but some other Adobe apps are not consistently stable.

There are some other things to consider such as the need for much more memory than a standard system to run the same apps, and well, it’s still very early in the game. I’ve heard of big issues even with Windows XP 64 bits itself…

The bottom line is, if you are in the business of making video, don’t buy one yet, or keep the old one for now.
