Hi…

You could also duplicate the first mask object.
then invert the duplication
then just trim the mask objects in the timeline at the point of the state change.

Hi….

How about this?

Do the subtitles as PSD’s and edit with them into the seq

Do the PPro project as English Master

Dupe it and make the Dupe the next Project the Spanish Master

then if you make Spanish language equivalent PSD’s

you can relink the Spanish project Subtitle PSD files and they will all be updated in the timeline automatically…

You can even have the english and spanish PSD’s with the same file names at the OS level to aid in quick relinking…JUST BE SURE TO PUT THEM IN THEIR OWN FOLDER….

See where I am going?

One way to minimize it could be to do a “Project Manage” collect on ech machine…

that what all the media ends up in one folder….

then on either machine, connect the first clip and it will find others….BUT….

this only works if

1) you have the space to do it
2) you each remember to add add any new files into the unified collect folder

might be worth some research….I don’t have any direct hands on with them

also look at Flavoursys

….might be of interest to you as well in a mixed environment…

What about the other way?

On the Mac side…

mount volumes SMB

and connect ftg that way….

then open same project up on Windows?
