It does, and so does processor memory speed (you want to start with E5-1620 at the minimum; better yet – E5-1650).

Nothing on the Quadro side: the only decent one that’s not old tech, is K5000, and it is about $2K. On the GeForce side, it’s GTX-670, 680, and even 660 Ti. None of the big boys (HP, Dell, Lenovo) offer those for their workstations so you’d want someone (an integrator like yours sincerely, or a local technician) to put it in and configure it for you.

I have to assume, you’ve looked at a YouTube Video Editor and it doesn’t work for you?
Don’t know of any open source video editing software that can be repurposed for cloud use. WeVideo isn’t open source but still, could the biz edition or Google Drive edition work for you?
For any “local” app and especially for something as complex as video editing, it’s quite a chore to retrofit the UI for use in a browser or a remotely connected “thin client” – something Adobe has been working on with its Adobe Anywhere – and even they won’t support it over WAN, only on intranets initially.

Not sure why they said that – when you shutdown the host computer, it flushes the cache and any pending write to the array, and that’s the reason to shut it down first. “Ejecting” the array is only neccessary when you physically disconnect or power it down first.

Don’t have any eS Pros in the shop now so not sure why it beeps on start-up; quite possibly it’s completely normal. Have you tried checking ATTO RAID logs to see if everything appears healthy?

Right-click -> Eject is the way to “unplug” it but I really don’t think you need to do it with eS Pro and the shutdown procedure you’re doing.

WD Reds are good but not supported on more than five drives in a RAID set or chassis; WD RE drives is another option – less expensive than Ultrastars.

One will be supported by ProAvio as their own (including cross-shipping), in addition to Areca’s support. The other one – NewEgg and Areca support only.

1882x is faster – you may or may not see the difference in performance depending on your storage configuration.

That’s what NVidia wants you to believe. 🙂
It’s actually a little more complicated that that – Quadro cards do usually have a better warranty and support than GeForce cards; Quadro cards support 10-bit color with those apps, systems and monitors that support it as well (not a trivial thing); are supposed to be subject to a more stringent QA testing than GeForce cards; offer more hardware OpenGL acceleration than GeForce cards – although fewer and fewer apps need it.
Bottom line, in AE, Pr, Ps and even some 3D modeling apps GeForce cards offer a far better performance and are a far better value vs. Quadros.
Some scenarios where Quadro cards may make sense:
– Tier 1 Xeon systems – Quadro cards sold with them are covered by the system’s on-site warranty, important to some folks.
– NVidia Maximus configurations for those who need it (unlikely in Pr or AE)
– 10-bit color support

I’d shoot an email to BMD support asking if they encountered a similar issue; look into using UltraStudio 4K on a 2nd TB port rather than the Decklink on the same TB channel with RedRocket.

Just FYI: a single GTX-600 series card or K5000 supports up to four digital monitors; a single Quadro 4000 (and all other Quadro and GeForce cards of that family and generation) – a maximum of two.
In other words you only need one K5000 or GTX-670 to support more than two monitors.
