The Proavio should be able to, but I’m with Alex, not the RocketRaid card. With the Areca mentioned you should be able to do a single stream uncompressed 2k. With the Areca card, you should be able to get 700-800 MB/s, so just look at your data rate for your footage (Guessing ~300 MB/s).

I was thinking ARC-1222s but it’s discontinued and I can’t think of any other decent RAID card that’s in the same price range. ARC-1882x is awesome but it’s $800. So maybe try RocketRAID and see if it works for you.

Just as a suggestion, I have the 8MS and an Areca 1882x as well as a ATTO R680. This is what I would do were I you.

Box:
Get a proavio 6G box, not the 8ms, but the EB800ms. According to the specs this supports 6G drive speed. You want all 6G components, you’ll have a faster system, and you’ll be happier for longer.

Card:
The Areca 1882x card is good, but the ATTO R680 is better for video. I got a bad ATTO card and went with the Areca originally, but also ended up getting another ATTO which worked fine. I now have both. The ATTO is the better performer.

Drives: Everybody recommends Ultrastars but we were ok with Deskstars. Your mileage may vary.

You want 6G compatible elements for everything. You get faster speeds that way.

Good luck! The ProAvio guys will give you the proper ATTO or Areca settings needed for their box to work the best.
