February 4, 2013 at 2:05 amHey Alex. Thanks so much for all your help. Is this the hard drive you’re talking about https://www.amazon.com/RE4-Enterprise-Hard-Drive-WD1003FBYX/dp/B003SANWI6 ?

February 4, 2013 at 2:51 amThat’ll work although it’s previous gen – SATA II and not III.
WD4000FYYZ, WD3000FYYZ and WD2000FYYZ are their latest SATA models, 2-4TB capacities.

So I got the Proavio with the High Point 4322 card. As I was setting up the raid, the card burnt out on me… I contacted highpoint and they agreed to let me RMA the card with the receipt waved. Took about 2 weeks from first contact till I received the unit back. They replaced it. I’m glad they did that.
I ended up getting an ATTO card. I’m getting 500mb/s speeds. I’m happy. I’m going to ebay the 4322. I just don’t trust the 4322.
