I admit I’m a post hog. But it’s always great to get a wealth of opinions and solutions to a certain problem. One guy on Apple forums noticed issues with reds and the DVX. Your advice was right on the spot though. Thanks again!

So just need to render the offline RT parts, right? I shouldn’t have too many, but there might be few.

You mean export sequence through compressor as Mpeg2 and then import into DVD SP 3? But even if you import it as a DVD, the footage will still be dark because it will be Mpeg2 footage using Mac gamma settings, right? I’ve figured that I’ll just change the gamma and brightness settings in compressor which will kill 2 birds with one stone.

    Thanks,

Yes, I am batch capturing. When I import the batch list to excel, I have about 3000 plus lines of logging! Anyway, my plan is to batch everything in full rez, and later downrez unimportant stuff to offline RT. This way if I need to check on some footage, I can quickly look at it without waiting. I’ve had problems batch capturing with offline RT at 24p advanced with pulldown removal, so capturing first in full rez then later downrezzing to offline RT is somewhat of a workaround.
