I’m not sure why you say it doesn’t work. It works in Safari and Opera.
Try going straight to https://www.creativecow.net and then choose the particleIllusion forum. Maybe you’re having trouble with the embedded forum in the wondertouch website?
If you can’t get it working, contact support at creativecow dot net.

Sorry I didn’t reply earlier — must have missed this one.
I think deleting the preferences file is the way to go.
On Windows, use the Start – Programs – particleIllusion 3.0 – “reset default settings” option (may be in “troubleshooting” menu)
On Mac, delete the following file:
/ Library / Preferences / pIllusion3.prefs Alan.

It’s strange that you would see this happen unless you installed the demo (or an older version of the demo) previously.
If the following preferences file (or something with a similar name) exists, delete it and try again:
/ Library / Preferences / pIllusionSEdemo.prefs / Library / Preferences / pIllusionSE.prefs Alan.

Don’t use only numbers in the filenames. If you use “image001.png”, “image002.png”, etc. it will work fine.
Or even “a001.png”, “a002.png”, etc. It just needs something before the numbers.

Just to be clear, I’m sure it was done with 3D in the movie — I’m just using pIllusion to recreate the effect.

You’re saying this problem is in Flash when importing?
If so, it’s the DPI of the particleIllusion-created images I think.

Uninstall from your old computer, then install on the new one and activate there.

You’re talking about a circle or ellipse emitter, right?
Put the emitter on the stage
Open the emitter properties dialog for it
See the “in” and “out” checkboxes? Use those.Alan.
