Even if you turn off the bg image? (click the “bg” icon)
What about removing the bg image from the layer at render time?

Try “run with software rendering”. If that fixes it, then you need to download new drivers for your graphics card.

Open the OpenGL page of particleIllusion preferences.
If “don’t use texture RAM for bg images” is checked, uncheck it. If it’s not checked, check it. Then click OK to close all dialogs and try again.

Read the email server error messages carefully. If it contains the word “blacklisted”, that means that you won’t be able to send to any of the wondertouch email addresses. In that case you can use support at genarts dot com.
(Or use a different email account to send — one that hasn’t been blacklisted.)

With future emails, if support at wondertouch doesn’t work, try support at genarts instead.

particleIllusion 3.0 is not 3D, so I don’t think what you’re trying to do is possible.
