If you’re on Windows, you probably turned off the playback toolbar. Check the menus – I think it’s the “View” menu.

If you’re on Mac, you probably just need to resize the main window larger.

You have to be more specific in describing what happens too.

This is by far the most complex post here in quite a while! I’ve read it a couple of times, but I think seeing the problem would help most. Can you post a small movie of the problem? Feel free to email to support at wondertouch dot com if it’s something you don’t want to post publically.

June emitters won’t be available until the start of July. May emitters have now been released (but no fish emitters).

What image format are you using? Try TGA.

To be more clear, I meant to “gaming” card. Don’t spend tons of money on a high-end 3D card just for pIllusion.

You know NVidia and ATI release a new design every couple of months now (it seems)? Almost impossible to say what the “best” is, since the “best” keeps changing.

Choosing a card depends on 1) budget 2) what apps you use most 3) what apps are most important to be fast.

If it’s just pIllusion, then I would say buy a fairly new NVidia-based card. Not the absolute latest (since you’ll pay a premium for that) but something fairly new.

My tip for everybody is to never change the library emitters unless you know you’ll never want the original. The way I modify emitters is to add them to the stage first, then modify them there (r-click on the stage emitter and select “properties” — don’t edit the properties for the library emitter). When I have something I want to keep, I use “Add to Library” to do just that.

The location of the library files has no effect on rendering speed.
