You can’t render without OpenGL — all of pIllusion’s rendering is done via it.
Can you post an image, or part of an image that clearly shows the problem?

There’s almost always another way to do what you want to do, so give me EXACT STEPS. For example:
– Open pIllusion.
– add the “star trails 2” emitter from the “default” library to the stage
– r-click on the stage emitter and select “properties”.Etc.
You should also send your crash log to wondertouch support.

I think the 3.0.5 update fixed this. Of course I haven’t re-released the update yet, but you can email wondertouch support directly.
I hope to have a new update ready later today or tomorrow.

The DPI information is not used by most programs from what I understand, so it’s probably not an issue. I do wonder about the “fuzziness” that you mention though.
Do you see this in particleIllusion itself? The only thing I can think of is that you’re scaling up too much, and probably need to create some higher-res particle shape images.

The Emitter Libraries folder must be in the same folder that the particleIllusion exe is.
