You can import image sequences into Motion as well, if you don’t have AE.

Toast won’t burn you a BD that you can replicate from. I found that out the hard way.

  • I’m sure I’ve done this in the past Johan.

From memory but converting the camera path to a spline, modifying that and then converting back to path.

    Thanks Guys, very helpful,

So it appears that if all I want is a complete CS4 collection install on a new 4core laptop (12GBram) with practically nothing else loaded on it, then Win7-home premium will allow this in 64 bit.

It’ll be primarily for XDcam Ex and HD and whatever codec works best for Fx

Thanks for the advice Vince. Yes I do already swop material between the Macs and PCs and know the limitations.

Good point about the PC price advantage.

I’d want to run Win7 64 although I understand at present that only PS in the cs4 suite is truely 64bit.

Is this what you are running and just how stable is it on your machine/s

    thanks Theo,

I see he posts a lot here. As a video professional I guess I should start taking photoshop more seriously. I’ll buy his book on your recommendation.

    Cheers

    Don’t worry, sorted it.

Something to do with the ‘override’ commands when automating.

I’ve never understood exactly what’s going on there!
