I’m not completely sure – but I think the spatial tangents are controlled in the timeline with curves.

I’m sure I’ve done this in the past Johan.

From memory but converting the camera path to a spline, modifying that and then converting back to path.

Johan, did you ever figure this out? I too have found them by accident, but can’t seem to see them anymore (camera spatial interpolation handles, as in AE). It should be SO simple, as you say, but I am missing something here… Please let me know if and how you solved this?

It’s crazy nobody can answer this, I’ve been looking everywhere on the web. It’s probably not the right wording. Folks coming at Cinema from an AE point of view, looking for spatial keyframe control within the viewport. I just can’t find the tangents to control the movement. How is this so hard? Please Cinema people, help!

Well, there’s the Timeline in F-Curve mode but if you’re looking for direct manipulation of the animation path in the viewport – select the keyframe on the animation path, if it doesn’t have a handle or if you can’t move the handle uncheck Auto Tangents. If the handle wasn’t there make the Left or Right Value something non-zero. Grab the handle with the Move tool.

Thanks so much for your reply, Brian –
this helps – even though I still find it so confusing in Cinema, so much easier in AE.

Will get used to it. THANKS!

I’ve been wondering about this for about 2 years :)! (using splines to animate)
    Thank you Very much
