Here’s what I’d do:
Create a medium-blue grid
duplicate the grid layer.
Set the top layer to the Add blending mode
add the fractal noise effect to the layer on top
Set the fractal type to strings
Set the EFFECT’S blending mode to Darken
Set the Effect’s contrast to a very high number
Set the effects Brightness to a low or negative number
Animate the effects evolution and/or transform properties
Add the glow effect and set the glow threshold to very low (You might want to do this earlier so that you can see things a little better
(Alternatively, to this last step, you could change the grid effect’s color to a brighter color and add a blur effect).
That should do it.

you have to duplicate the vidoe layer in the timeline, and on the top layer, mask off the eyes (Roto-scope) using the mask tools (Pen, rectangular mask…etc.).
Then choose Effect > Colro Correction > Change to Color
Have fun.

You have to render to a format that supports an alpha channel.
You can render as a quicktime file. Watch this video, and it should explain everything:

Is it just the cow moo or the music as well.
I’ll try and get the volume down, but you prbably won’t see a difference until March, as I’ve alreeady rendered out almost everything up to that point. I’ll see what I can do.

and if you use the stroke effect which can leave a solid line, it can also leave a trail of dots because you can play with the spacing of the stroke to create dots instead of a line. Just in cast that’s what you mean.

obviosuly that’s not normal. Have you tried shutting down and restarting AE, or your computer? If that doesn’t work, try re-installing the CC effects.

There are 2 aspects to this.
If you bring a comp containing 3D elements into your comp it comes in a flat layer. AE looks at is as video of 3D movie – meaning the lemets apear to be 3D, but it;s an illusion, the layer is still flat. The layer cannot be rotated in 3D.
If you make this a 3D layer, it gets 3D coordinates and Axes (XYZ), and you can then rotate it in 3D, but it will still be a flat layer. AE is still looking at it as if it were a flat video containing 3D animation.
On the other hand, if you collapse transofrmation (but don;t make it a 3D layer), it becomes 3D – respecting the camera and lightsd (and ignoring it’s own internal cameras and lights in favor of the current comp’s lighting and cameras). Also, it is still using a 2D coordinate system. So while you can rotate around it with the camera, if you tried to move or rotate this layer/nested comp, you will find that it only has 2 dimensions for position (X, Y) and one for rotation.
Usually, when bringing in a nested comp containing 3D, you will want to turn on both collaps transformations and the 3D switch, which makes it a fully functional 3D layer that retains it’s 3D aspects and coordinates – minus the lights and cameras. In your case, it sounds like you’ve already set up your camera and now, becasue you collapsed transformations are losing that camera info.
Now, I assume that every camera is locked down (i.e., not rotating or moving) and set up exactly the same in every comp. If not, this solution won’t work: What you should do fo this kind of animation is use only 1 camera in your final comp. Turn on collapse transofrmations for every nested comp. If you want to be able to move them in 3D space, make them 3D as well.
Without seeing your project, and understanding what it is you are doing, this is the best advice i can give. Oh, yeah – that and – When doing anything this complicated plan ahead.
