And also worth mentioning that AE and mp3 do not get along well. Same goes for all compressed audio formats.

Try converting the files to .wav

Even if you get to play the mp3 file on AE it might bring you lots of trouble later. Choppy sound, sync problems, etc.

I´ve had lots of those problems in the past. And I´ve learned my lesson.

Wow! How could I forget that! Jon is probably right. It happened to me when I got my quadro and tried to render with the openGL enabled.

Everything looked perfect and the render was a disaster.

There´s something about that here:

It´s about altering keyframe data from AE7 to serve AE 6.5 but I really don´t know if it works from 5 to CS3.

Maybe that´s a starting point or just a huge wall that says: NO WAY MATE!

’cause I think the way AE writes this data has changed a bunch from 5 to 8…

But anyway this came to my mind when I read your question.

How about the earth….is it precomped and 3D to?

Well I´ve made a little video here. Trying to explain my steps.

I think it´s all there but if I missed anything please ask me.

My mic is really cheap so I apologise for that. Also my english might be a bit rusty for I don´t really speak to anyone in english in a while.

I hope it helps you for real so I can start giving back to people everything I got from the cow (and being a vegetarian it´s great to know she´s still alive).

Well there you go:

(oh! one more thing I did was to go on to the material options (pressing AA) of the master text (after making it 3D and after duplicateing it) and changing it´s shininess from 5% to 50% and also disableing cast shadows on the slave before duplicateing it)
