2 monitors is muchos useful 🙂
many want to print the PDF, and many baulk when they realise the cost. I bought DSE’s book. Many swear by the DVD training sets out there, from Gary & others.

yep, doesn’t the printed manual only contain the first 3 chapters anyway? never bought the boxed product myself, so not sure

can drag n drop any SWF file on to the timeline.
Certain functionality NOT available – ActionScripting, motion video and audio not supported

why not render straight to mpeg2 in vegas?
just curious. unless, of course, you need to rededit /rerender the video later…..

I found simply copying the files on to the drive, then changing the .vob extension to .mov, then throwing it on the timeline
works for me

I use dvdshrink to rip, when necessary, tho don’t know what gives best quality

Unfortunately is has a lot of impact on the consumer. Which affects sales. Which affects R&D & longevity of the product, plugins, work opportunities etc
