Thank all for your tips, I ended up finding out that using the syncro scan @ 180.0 db and that seems that have been the best looking results, for the HVX.

So yes Shot @ 720P 60 now I need to figure out what the best workflow is to conform to 24fps. I mentioned I usually use cinema tools but have heard there may be a better way??? any help?

Gary, I shoot on the Panasonic HVX200 @ 720P 60fps. What would you recommend as a workflow for optimal slow motion. Also I mentioned I have been doing tests for shutter speed but haven’t found the best.

HAhaha I asked this same question and this guy gave me grief about not doing thing correctly in the first place. I know I messed up in the first place thats why i’m looking for help haha. Anyways here is a tutorial on the best way to salvage 23.98 fps from 29.97 fps

the only thing I found was that when you are retiming your footage that there is a very slight frame adjustment that occurs when switching frame rates. So when you are checking for your runtime, first place your audio into your new timeline and get the runtime from that. I found it slips out of sync just a little bit otherwise.

If anyone has a better way to do this I would love to hear it

ahhh crap. Ok whats done is done, reshoot is not possible. So here I am stuck with this footage and it needs to be converted to 24p, I already have done most of the editing and would prefer not to have to do it over again. Can I conform the footage to 24p in cinema tools while keeping the edit in the timeline or do I have to convert the raw capture footage separately.

I tried the link but no such luck, I heard it is possible to use your camera as a P2 reader and a icon should pop up on your desktop like a hard drive is this the link to get that working or does anyone else know of what to do??

    Thanks for all the help
