    What format are you exporting to from After Effects? What format is your FCP timeline? First take a look here.

    Yes, there have been a few related problems with QuickTime and gamma. There’s some information and links in the “Gamma and tone response” section of After Effects Help.

    I have exported as a quicktime mov and using quicktime conversion and tried a few different setting but to no avail but I will try your suggestion thanks
