    HI,

I have posted 2 pictures of exactly what I meant. Just picture the 2 people in the foreground moving and the titles are moving as well behind them.

Thanks for the info. Here is what I am trying to do.

I have a 20 minute timeline in FCP 7, I exported it as an XML from FCP 7. I used 7toX and brought it into FCP X. I want to be able to do a color correction in FCP X, export it through XML back into FCP 7 where all of the color changes are still present that I did in FCP X.

How can I accomplish this? Please give me step by step instructions.

    Thank You in advance.

  • Hi,

Thanks. Can you send me a link to Mr. Mercury plug in? I googled it and it’s not going up.

    Thanks in advance

  • HI Nick,

Thanks for the info the other day. I did what you said and it worked great.

I have another question for you about Multiclip.

I have another timeline , but this time the cameras started and stopped through out the ceremony at all different times. So there is not one clip on each track, there are many. How can I make a Multiclip out of a timeline that looks like that?

    Thanks

  • The drive is a Usb 3 drive. 7200 rpm

  • Hi,

The media is DSLR footage, not shot by me. I import the clips into FCP X. The library is on my LACIE Rugged Drive.

How can I test the Hard drive to see if it has issues?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

That sounds like a great way to do that. How do you do it?

I assume you make the multi clip first then you put that in a project. But then how do you export the 2 or 3 or maybe more audio files? How do you have access to each one individually once they are in your Multi clip.

Please tell me exactly how you export audio only then put it underneath the Multicam clip.

    Thanks in advance.

    OK,

With a Multicam Clip in a timeline, How can I Detach all 3 of my audio sources so I can edit in multi clip mode without having to worry about the audio getting cut? I am going to be mixing the audio sources in the multicam clip when I’m done cutting just the picture.

    Thanks

If I do do this, I will not lose anything right? This will basically make a new user out of my old admin one and save all of my software.

It will be like if I took a temporary one, and made it my admin one and deleted my old admin one, correct?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I tried rebuilding my user directory, but when I get to the part that I have to delete my original (bad) admin user profile, it does not give me the option to press the – sign to delete it.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks
