HPX-2000 is better made camera with better pictures..but it costs twice as much and does not have under/over crank.
Perhaps you should wait for new Sony XDCAM HD50….

Shoot it on latest Digi Beta camera.Sorry,but this is the fact.I spent a lot of time testing it…but do not worry,SD picture from HDX900 still look good.

HDX 900 has got megapixel block,better VF,better processing and better finish.It is higher end broadcast camera…would be my pick anytime.

one more think.
Next month Sony will introduce new XDCAM hd camera f335…it is like F330 but with Dual Layer burner(double recording time).
It will also come with cheap HD Canon AF lens.
Nigel is right-F330 is miles ahead of JVC250.
In a long rung XDCAM hd is the way to go. -

Where do you get extra wide lens under US$10,000 like Fujinon 3.3×13??two things to mention here:
HVX-202 is the best small camera on the market and at last Sony woke up and is comming on the market with EX.
Secondly if somebody is shooting SD,they will get better results with decent SD cameras like Pana900 or later versions of Digi Beta Cameras.I do not like much Downconverted image from HD to SD(especially skin tones) from average HD camcorders.
