Aaron Neitz June 12, 2009 at 5:29 am in reply to: Compressor TC does not match QT that’s what i ended up doing…. but render times are immensely quicker in compressor (working on a feature length project) Aaron Neitz June 11, 2009 at 7:02 pm in reply to: Compressor TC does not match QT Argh, that didn’t work for me. Still a drift in code. Aaron Neitz June 11, 2009 at 6:12 pm in reply to: Compressor TC does not match QT I thought i was working Richard…. but I was wrong. My brain is not up to par today. Been on vacation for 5 days! I’m now doing it in FCP. Can’t seem to get compressor to read my TC correctly. Aaron Neitz June 11, 2009 at 5:45 pm in reply to: Compressor TC does not match QT little arrows in the Preview window of compressor let you adjust the TC. But it shouldn’t be doing this in the first place Aaron Neitz June 9, 2009 at 1:06 pm in reply to: Problems with Final Cut Pro hang-ups (way too often!) How is the XSAN deployed? How many stations, was it set up by a certified tech, etc? seems like the 1st culprit. XDCAM should play fine otherwise, even off a firewire drive. Curtain on layer 3 matte for curtain on layer 2 video under curtain on layer 1 right click layer 3. select “travel matte luma” it will look at layer 2 to figure out the matting. If you Log and Transfer your ProRes files, it will be MUCH easier to go back. But yes, FCP is slower than RedRushes for making quicktimes. Aaron Neitz June 4, 2009 at 8:56 pm in reply to: Audio Sync Issue More than likely the mixer worked at 24fps when he should have been working in 23.98/29.97. Video speed, not film speed. Try this: put a 99.90% speed effect on your audio file and see if that fixes it. Page 24 of 139 ← 1 … 23 24 25 … 139 →
