Thanks Kathlyn. I just found and booked a hotel for $32 a night (without a casino). Surprsingly, the hotels without Casinos are much, much cheaper. Have to finalize the flight times (there are 14 flights from NYC each day. lol)

Thanks for the info. We ran a test screening and it turned out to be OK. Nothing impressive, but we are going to try and color-correct some of the content, so that we can view it better.

Have you installed all the plugins that shipped with After Effects? IIRC, a lot of the bundled presets use the CC effects.

As you mentioned, it is a personal preference, but here are some of the workspaces I like to use:

a) When working intensively with the timeline, I drag my timeline across the screen
b) When working with cameras and/or with the program monitor, I place only the monitor in the second window and maximize it.

You should be able to import AVI files into AE without any problems. No need for a special program.

What version of Premiere Pro are you using? Version 2 drastically improved the ability to edit MPEG video. If you are using Premiere Pro 2, simply copy and paste the *.VOB files from your DVD to your harddrive. Rename the extension of the files from VOB to MPG and you should be able to import that within Premiere without a problem.

Hi,
When presented with the two choices during boot, select Windows XP Pro. Once in Windows do the following:

1. Start > Run > msconfig
2. Select the boot.ini TAB
3. Click on Check All Boot Paths
4. Restart

Problem gone!

As I said previously, I am aware of the problem. However, it won’t recreate itself automatically. If you can list down the steps, then maybe we can see if something in your workflow is causing the issue.

It may or may not be a bug. If you can reproduce it everytime then it may be a bug.
