A couple of things:
a) Download and install an applicaton called G-Spot
b) Open your source file in G-Spot and post the properties here.

Does this particular device have a firewire interface? If not, then it won’t be recognized by Premiere Pro.

That is correct. The DVStorm is really suited for the garbage. However, if you still want to capture analog sources, take a look at the new Matrox card. Expensive, but does a decent job.Aanarav Sareen
