Just out of curiosity: Why use the MainConcept encoder vs the Premiere Pro encoder?
Secondly, have you tried to skip the encoding step and taken the file directly into Encore? If not, please try that out and report back.
I think you may be running into problems because you are using the PCM audio format. Try using AC3 and see if that solves the problem.

Simply run the looksuite installer and it should work. Have you tried that?

Ron Lindeboom once recommended Behringer microphones and I have been absolutely amazed by the quality of the microphone. Relatively inexpensive, but good quality.

Do you need to do it offline? The only reason I ask the question is because, offline to online maybe a problem.
Secondly, you can create custom projects in Premiere Pro. I did this demo a while back, but you can use it and customize it for your own situation:

This is how the Flash format works:
Step 1: Edit your content
Step 2: Export content to FLV (as you did)
Step 3: Put the FLV in an SWF wrapper.
Step 4: Play the SWF file.The problem that you are running into is that FLV is NOT playable via the Flash player. You need to wrap the FLV in the SWF wrapper.

Open up the FLV file in the app and you’ll see that the your FLV file has exported properly. To create an SWF wrapper, you need to either use Flash Professional or Dreamweaver.

I capture all my footage via ScLive in 2gb chunks and use the default Microsoft DV AVI codec. Unfortunately, no one really knows what codecs will be supported in the future, but this codec does not have any hardware limitations and it has been working file on XP and Vista for me.

Hi,
Can you reimport any footage to see if the audio is present in the imported content?
Secondly, where is there “no sound”? Can you not hear it back on the computer or is it not audible while playing back over a TV set?

In order to avoid product bias, I think you should specify that you own and develop DVFilm Raylight. And, I am sure that’s not the reason. As mentioned, there are licensing costs and development costs associated with such an implementation.

There are 3rd party companies that support the formats you mentioned. Cineform, Matrox and MainConcept have supported this for a long time as well. I am not entirely sure whether OnLocation will support the format, but we can hope for the best.
