What are your export settings in each of the 2 scenarios? Premiere Pro sets the export quality to “5” by default and reducing the quality setting to “3” speed up the render time, without any significant loss of quality.

Make sure that you are using large font sizes and large/round font types. Do not use fonts that are too “thin”.

Try this:
1. Place footage on track 1
2. Create 2 razor points for cutting (ex: point # 1 @ 2 mins and point # 2 @ 5 minutes).
3. Right click on the portion you would like to delete and select ‘Ripple Delete’
4. Move the parts to the desired tracks, as required.Aanarav Sareen
