    Hi Guys,

I am using a wireless MIC on Channel 1, Camera Mic Channel 2.

I gain establishing shots with both audio sources going. Capture to Premiere and then set the in/out points for the bits I want on that capture and create a Subclip. All smooth so far only I want just the Left Channel (i.e. the camera mic) on the subclip. I go to Clip->Audio Options-> Source Mappings and select the clip to Mono as Stereo with the source I dont want deselected.

Now when I go to preview the Subclip Premiere hangs on me. When I set the Raw Capture to either L or Right as stereo no problems it seems to have a problemm with this subclip?

What I was doing previously and more laboriously was creating a new sequence, breaking out the audio. Dropping the whole raw file into that sequence, unlinking the audio and adding the Left Channel from the Audio Breakout. I would then edit from this sequence when I wanted either audio source (Left or Right)

I am sure this is a rendering problem but has anyone got a fix for this as doing it via a subclip would really speed up my workflow!

    Thanks. Jon
