I follow a similar technique, except I scale my clips down to 25%. I really wish Adobe releases an affordable multi-cam plugin, similar to Vegas or incorporates a multi-cam function like Avid.

Try importing the pictures into another project and see if you can recreate the problem there.

Scale the pictures down in Photoshop to 720*480 and see if the problem still occurs.

What are the dimensions of the pictures? DOes this happen to every picture or only to specific ones?

What are your export settings?

You can copy and paste clips from one sequence to another…

I am using PPRO on SP2, but when I had to reinstall WIndows XP to get it working properly. Without reinstalling, it really bogged down my system.

You cannot export an MP3 file from PPRO. Export the file as a WAV file and use a third-party program to covert the wave file.
Also, downloading codec packs is not good for PPRO. You will run into a problem, eventually.
