It all depends on your level of experience and contacts. If you are skilled and creative, making a decent amount of money is not hard. The same goes for contacts. Have a good demo reel available or start working on one.

At the moment, I would wait since the dual core processors are starting to roll out. Give it another month or so and you should see these processors being offered to local vendors.

Haven’t really worked with 24p, but if you head over to the Adobe forums, there is a known bug regarding 24p.

BTW…A stupid person cannot win an XL2 😀

Sorry, I have barely worked with 6.5. Maybe someone else who has used Premiere 6.5 and is familiar with the problem can help.

Are you exporting the files as quick time references by any chance? Also, quicktime has a variety of settings. What are your export settings from AE?

What are the properties of the text (font? font size? shadow? color? fill? etc.)

I am not sure as to what you are asking.

    You say:
[nils palmen] “when i looked at the non-rendered file at speed-up, it looked like very sharp – photo like images.”
    and
[nils palmen] “after the rendering it seemed like premire had add a sort of motion blur”

As far as I know, Premiere Pro doesn’t change the output settings or adds a motion blur by default.
