I am assuming that you are ripping the discs as MPEG files?

I am not sure if Premiere Pro supports BWAV. You might want to try it with a short clip. However, Premiere Pro does support WAV files.

That really depends. The Matrox cards are primarily for realtime editing and do not serve as graphic cards.

This may sound really weird, but I recently did this with someone else….
Open up your clip in the source monitor and put the same clip in the program monitor. Play the sequence. Can you hear the audio now?

Is your deck connected still connected to your computer? If so, you might want to unplug it. If you do not want to unplug it, then go to playback options and select ‘Play Audio on Audio Hardware’

Adobe uses the MainConcept encoder and hence the update is from MainConcept. -

Premiere 6.5 will reduce the resolution to the project size. What are your project dimensions?

Can you export to any other format? (MPG etc) If not, then I would reccomend downloading the encoder’s update from Adobe’s site.
