    Hi,
I’ve tried with several DVDs, all with no protection, and it seems that Premiere imports them without the sound for some reason.
Can anyone explain this? Is there any way to overcome this?

I am assuming that you are ripping the discs as MPEG files?

I was trying to avoid ripping the DVDs as I needed only a single shot from every DVD. I tried importing the VOB and the IFO files.
BTW, If I was trying to rip the DVD, which setting would you recommend?
