I am guessing it is a Canopus issue. But, just to make sure it isn’t, create a new project without the Canopus settings and try to render the footage and see what happens.

First off, give us a little more info regarding your hardware, like graphics card and the firewire chipset if you know what it is. Secondly, With Premiere Pro 1.5, did you see these problems?

Hi Jeff,
It seems like Premiere Elements would be a better choice for you. Why?
1. Because it is newer and probably handles footage/media better than Premiere 6.02
2. Has the capabilities of creating a DVD with chapters and menus.If you choose to stick with Premiere 6.02, you will have to purchase a DVD authoring software and is probably not worth to wait for the previews.

Thanks for the update. There is another blur filter (I think it is called Fast or Directional Blur, but the name escapes me at this point). Apply that video effect and select the blur director to be vertical. -
What are the dimensions of your PiP? Also, try applying a tad bit of gaussian blur to the PiP (perhaps a value of .5). That may eliminate the fuzziness.

Can you list your system specs as well as how the clip was captured and the audio levels of the discs? In the mean time also go to the Audio Mixer (Window > Audio Mixer) and reduce the master slider to a vaue of -6db. My guess is your audio levels are peaking too high.

Under your export settings reduce the quality to 3.0. The exports will be MUCH faster with no quality difference. -

I am having similar problems. Although my cookies are set OK. Whenever I press ‘Post Direct’ it tells me that I am a new user and have to wait to post or something to that effect. I am not sure what the problem is, because I tried using 2 browsers: FireFox and IE and on 3 different systems… -
Unfortunately, Premiere Pro does not support MIDI interfaces at this point.
