Not a Premiere Pro setting. When booting up your system, go into your BIOS (F2 or F12) and then look for the Hyperthreading option.

Are you on a PC? If so, create an image of the DVD project and use a virtual DVD mounter such as Daemon Tools to mount and preview the disc. -
This is a known bug. Try to keep your images under 2000 * 2000 and reduce the ppi to 72.

1. MPEG is primarly meant for delivery and not for editing (unless you are editing HDV, I guess)
2. If you want to edit MPEG videos, purchase the MPEG Pro Plugin from MainConcept
3. Regarding “Failed to return a video frame”, try turning off your system’s hyperthreading. -

I am not sure which DVD authoring application you use, but in Adobe Encore, there is something called an ‘end point’. I just set the ‘end point’ of the main video to a logo and then the logo’s ‘end point’ to the video again. You can download a trial version of Encore if you are on the PC. -
Are you using the Matrox RT100 by any chance?

Just press ‘stop’ on the deck. Another way of doing it is, press ‘record’ on your deck and press play on the timeline.
