  • PPRO Screen goes green when scaling stills

I’ve run into a problem in PPRO 1.5 when I manipulate stills in the effects window. Sometimes then I adjust the X, Y, or Scale positions the position number will A.) stop changing the value and freeze in the FX window permitting no more changes, or B.) Change the image to a full green color screen. This seems to be somewhat hit and miss as I can’t find a reason why it’s happening only on certain stills. When I exit PPRO and relaunch, I usually am back to my still image and start fresh. Once rendered, they’re good to go. I’m working on a project that is very “still heavy” and this is becoming quite combersome exiting and relaunching all the time.

By the way, the images are PSD files with X-Y dimensions under 4000×4000 pixels and are around 300 ppi.

Has anyone had this problem arise?

This is a known bug. Try to keep your images under 2000 * 2000 and reduce the ppi to 72.

This is a problem I encounter frequently as well, and I believe it almost certainly contributes to the MPEG compression difficulties I outline in a thread just prior to this one I call “fram’d”.
