Sorry – I know we went throught this sometime ago but I never found the reason for the issue because of the ensuing “punch up”.

I still can not get my cookies from this site to be recognised and have not found anything in my system that prevents this occurring.

I establish my identity ( like I just did) and tomorrow when I reopen this site they will be gone again and I have to repeat the process.

Is there a solution or any helpful info available?

Its not an issue on any other site that I subscribe to.

Moderator/ IT : What is the name of the cookie for this site or can it be identified in any other manner?

    Craig,
I am having similar problems. Although my cookies are set OK. Whenever I press ‘Post Direct’ it tells me that I am a new user and have to wait to post or something to that effect. I am not sure what the problem is, because I tried using 2 browsers: FireFox and IE and on 3 different systems…

Mine forgets now and then, but not too often. Are your cookies being automatically cleaned up by some software running in the background?

Seems like it Steven but I can not see what it would be (google toolbar pop up killer ????) but why does it not affect other sites.
