You didn’t say this before.

are you capturing to your internal hard drive, if not what type of drive are you using.

Never capture to the same drive that your OS is on that is asking that one drive to do to much at one time. If you are capturing to an external drive then DO not use USB use firewire, preferably a separate firewire bus on the computer, then the one the camera is connected to.

His video is only 2 minutes long. I have compressed 3 minute videos for the web at high settings and the file size is only about 12mb.

Nobody is talking about keeping the 720 frame size on the web, thats just crazy. The 3 minute video I just mentioned I actually mad the web version 640×360 which is actually rather large frame size for web video.

There have been several posts that give detailed instructions on how to do this using sound track pro like I said before, the sound track pro manual also gives instructions.

Use STP, set your noise print and then reduce the hum. I have seen more detail about this in past posts, I am sure a search would bring up plenty of info.

Ether way make sure you get Apple Care.

What format is the drive are you capturing to. If it is formated FAT32 then then that is the problem files on a FAT32 drive cannot be bigger then 2GB so it has to break it up into multiple files.
