You need to down convert it to SD to put it on a DVD. Creat a new Time Line (DV NTSC Anamorphic) and drag your HDV time line on to that, render it then export that, and then bring it into DVDSP

I’m not quiteshure how you are transfering the files from one to the other. I would probably copy them to an external HD them conect that to the new one.

Have you tried a different firewire cable, it could be a bad cable

Well there are quite a fiew options out there. Many will use up two usb ports one for data and one for power. Be aware that if you are powering the HD from the computer it will drain your laptop battery faster.

Yes I already understood that but is it from a laptop with a G4 Processor or a desktop with a G4 processor. A Hard Drive from a laptop not only is smaller phisicaly then one from a desktop, but has different data and power conections then those from a desktop.

If it is from a Desktop HD you will need a power source, however many external inclosures for laptop hard drives do not require a plug in power source.

In Address Book select File/Back up Address Book.

Move that back up file to your new computer

Open Address Book and select File/Revert to Address Book Baack up
