    No matter how much I search I can’t find clear directions for copying data from my backup-ed up 10.3.9 system onto my fresh install of 10.4.7.

    I’m trying to keep things clean and install one app at time. My current wish is to get my data from my address book 3.0.2 into my address book 4.0.4.

    I see address book folders/files in ~/library/ and in ~/library/application support/. Which folder(s)/file(s) do I copy over to the new system?

    Are there any links that can take me through this app by app? I

    In Address Book select File/Back up Address Book.

    Move that back up file to your new computer

    Open Address Book and select File/Revert to Address Book Baack up

    Or, you can highlight the addresses you need (just select-all if you want to move them all) and export V-card. The import it w/ your new Address book. Worked like a charm for me.
