another possibly related question – when i scrub through the timeline everything turns very light colors like white yellow and pink until i release the mouse button. I installed it at home and at work and at home it doesnt happen so im assuming its just a menu setting. Know what im talking about?

sorry, i didn’t see the other post. I’ll try what you suggested. I have 2GB RAM… i assumed that would be enough.

nm… im stupid. I just figured out that the effects im looking for are in the Null Object layer and not the image layer… duh. This is a cool tutorial, but I’m really not learning much since everything is set up for you already and all you do it play with the values. I still dont understand what a null object is or how you set up these expressions.

Ok, so I tried the next part of the tutorial where it tells you to “scrub the angle control” and I can’t find angle control anywhere! What the f!?!? Why is everything so much different with this new version???

I was trying some of the tutorials and got stuck at one point in this one…

On step 7 i cant find the hue property they’re talking about, probably in a different spot since i am using a newer version. Also, when I RAM preview something, it doesn’t preview the entire timeline… any idea why?

wow… thanks for all the links! I’ll be sure to check them all out!

Ok so I found an example. The part im talking about is the 2nd to last trick after the music ends you can clearly hear the audio and video gradually slow down then speed back up.

Well the reason I want to use time remapping for audio is that i’ve heard/seen it in a lot of skateboarding videos and I just think it sounds cool to hear the sound gradually get slower and deeper and then gradually come back along with the video. What do you mean by a jolt? Is it an abrupt audio change? If so, thats not what I want… I’ll try looking up an example so you can see what im looking for.

FYI – I changed the background to yellow because it is one of our school colors. Let me know what you think, I’m still open to suggestions.
