3D Camera movement
Posted by Zygotesoup on April 16, 2007 at 7:27 pmI saw a tutorial on using the camera to move around and parent to null objects (whatever those are), but it seemed to go too fast and i didn’t really learn anything from it. Does anyone know of a decent tutorial for it or any advice? I also remember hearing someone talk about a tutorial on expressions. Since I don’t know what the hell an expression is, that might be another good one for me to look into if anyone knows of one. Thanks again!

April 16, 2007 at 7:35 pmBefore totally going crazy with the influx of random replies in both of these areas (they’re very open ended in regards to options) try reading the AE help file all the way through, or check the manual index for null objects and parenting expressions. once you get a decent understanding through trial and error on non-consequential practice projects of your own, the tutorial’s will make a lot more sense. This is a big program, take your time…

April 16, 2007 at 10:34 pmI was trying some of the tutorials and got stuck at one point in this one…
https://www.adobe.com/designcenter/aftereffects/articles/aft6audio.html
On step 7 i cant find the hue property they’re talking about, probably in a different spot since i am using a newer version. Also, when I RAM preview something, it doesn’t preview the entire timeline… any idea why?
